The new crib standards have kept us all a bit confused but anything on the market as of June 28 of this year should be compliant.  It is actually against the law to sell a crib today that does not meet all of the new safety standards.

Smaller, compact cribs are what most churches are using because they take up much less room than the full size cribs used in homes.  It is legal to use a “pack n’ play” style portable play yard as long as you do not add extra padding to the bottom of the unit.  You have to use what comes with it.

We distribute cribs here at Reynolds Manufacturing made by Foundations.  They are a nice little crib and come in a variety of styles and price ranges.  Our web site is www.reynoldstx.com.  If you see cribs on this site that you have questions about or would like to know our present sales promotions, please feel free to give me a call at 800-588-4031.  Some of your local discount stores may even have some nice sturdy cribs for light use.  You just want to make sure it can stand the test of time.

Right now you should beware of garage sales as those cribs – no matter how nice – are 99.9% likely to not meet the new standards.

Many blessing on your new church and please feel free to call with question or concerns about any of your furnishings.
