WHERE’S YOUR CHALICE?
This game is modeled after the traditional game of “Doggy, Doggy”. In our version, Pharaoh is sitting in his palace and someone is sneaking to “steal” his chalice, or golden cup. Pharaoh sits with his back to the group and his cup under his chair. Use a cut out picture or a small plastic trophy cup that is easy to hide. Touch someone on the head to be the one to sneak away with the cup and hide it some how on their person. The group let’s Pharaoh know it is time to find the cup by chanting, “Pharaoh, Pharaoh where’s your chalice? Somebody stole it from your palace!” Pharaoh turns and tries to guess the guilty thief. Take turns as Pharaoh. Relate the game to Joseph and Benjamin.
