1 Pray for your pastor

2 Always respect and honor your pastor publicly and privately

3 Get to know your pastor outside the church environment

4 Talk to your pastor

5 Make sure your vision for the childhood ministry matches the pastor’s vision for the church

6 Be the children’s champion before your pastor (but do not forget about #2)

7 Inform your pastor about what is happening in the children’s ministry and the families.

8 Include your pastor whenever possible in childhood events (but respect his calendar)

9 Be your pastor’s champion in front of the children

10  Invite your pastor to leadership fellowships (but accept “No” as an OK answer)
