Searching for Substitute Teachers! Yuck!
Searching for Subs on a holiday weekend will make you crazy!!!! Here are some ideas to consider when planning for subs.
- Visit adult classes and enlist people to be on the bench.
- Create a rotation list of subs.
- Holiday weekends- email the teachers and the bench for all available teachers. Ask teachers to contact the available bench people to step in and let you know who is teaching and where.
- Do a walk through standing training in the classroom to orient them to the classroom and resource room. It’s a starting place and you can build on that.
